Vacant Buildings

My small town has a few vacant buildings on almost every road. I under these buildings have a story to them that may be significant to certain people. In my opinion there are other ways to uses them or get rid of the eye sore in the area. Our town could use many new business to not only help financially in the town but making it a town you can actually use, Daycares, restaurants, shops and a better variety of retailers would be helpful here. Instead each generations get to tell the tale and watch as these buildings decay. By all means preserve the story, put plaques up with a short story of the land. At least then our neighborhoods would be more appealing and the history of these properties would be saved. Just something to think about!
